The Pulse, September 23, 2019

For more than 25 years, the Health Science Center (HSC) has provided services through our in-house accredited office of continuing education, now known as INCEDO. INCEDO offers a vast array of innovative learning activities and solutions to improve the knowledge of health care professionals while having a positive impact on patient health and community health outcomes.

Incedo LogoOur INCEDO Team partners with UNTHSC colleges and programs as well as outside organizations to provide a wide range of collaborative continuing education services and professional development activities designed to improve competence, performance, patient outcomes and population health in the communities where we live and work.

However, with all of our programs and services we are never content with status quo and are always looking for opportunities for improvement.  Therefore, I am pleased to share we have listened to your feedback and made some changes to better meet your needs including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Focusing on the Health Science Center as a priority client
  • Designed a more competitive and affordable pricing structure
  • Expanded our scope of services
  • Rolled out a more personalized, customer experience

Additionally, we are creating a “Continuing Education Advisory Council” to ensure our HSC programming supports the strategic mission and vision of the University.  Dr. Mark Chassay, Senior Vice Provost, will be vetting all the nominations for the Advisory Council.

I encourage you to contact Dena Silva, Director of INCEDO, at Dena.Silva@unthsc.edu to learn more about the services offered by INCEDO and how they can create unique programs specifically designed to address your needs and exceed your expectations.
