Senior Director of Academic Engagement and Communications, Dana Gill

With a bachelor’s degree in public relations and communications and more than 15 years of experience, Dana brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to this position.  In her current role as the SCP Director of Communications she has been instrumental in implementing a comprehensive communications initiative across all facets of the college.  She has demonstrated outstanding leadership by facilitating working relationships across campus and fostering a collaborative environment to accomplish goals and objectives.

In her new role as Senior Director, Dana is responsible for strategic and internal communications for all areas reporting up to the Provost including, but not limited to, Academic Affairs, Faculty Affairs, Student Affairs, Clinical Affairs, SaferCare Texas, The UNT Health Clinical Practice and our six Schools/Colleges. She will provide strategic communications leadership in a highly collaborative model with the HSC Office of Brand and Communication, Institutional Advancement and the Collegiate Deans.
