Dr. J. Glenn Forister, PhD, PA-C, DFAAPA, has accepted the position of Dean, School of Health Professions and will officially join the UNT Health Science Center on February 4th, 2019. Dr. Forister has a track record of strong leadership, a solid understanding of what is needed to take the School of Health Professions (SHP) to the next level of success and values our commitment to working together to transform lives to improve the lives of others.
Our new Master of Science degree in Lifestyle Health Sciences and Coaching will begin accepting applications in the Fall of 2020. This unique program is the first in Texas to offer an intensive, one-year, blended curriculum designed to prepare students for health and wellness coaching certification.
Dr. Michael Mathis has accepted the role as Dean, Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences (GSBS) and will be joining the UNT Health Science Center by the end of February 2019.
