Communications Division

The Police Department houses a fully functional communications center and serves as the central hub for emergency communications to the University owned and/or controlled property.

Some of the services provided by the communications division include:

  • Available to the campus community 24/7 by telephone,
    Telecommunications Device for the Deaf (TDD), and walk-in
  • Receives emergency and non-emergency phone calls
  • Radio dispatch officers and monitor their activity
  • Monitor fire, burglar, and access control alarm systems
  • Monitor external video cameras (CCTV) in and around campus
  • Actively dispatch police officers to incidents
