I recently joined the STEP team to provide clinical pharmacy services for patients who are transitioning back into the home. I thoroughly enjoy visiting with patients in their homes so I can get a clear picture of their medication taking behaviors. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy in 2008. After graduation, I completed a PGY-1 Community Residency at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy and a PGY-2 Ambulatory Care Specialty Residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. I am board certified in Ambulatory Care and have recently transitioned into caring for geriatrics patients. I have been at the University of North Texas System College of Pharmacy since 2013 where I teach predominantly in the area of experiential education.
