Clinic Services

The Pediatric Mobile Clinic unit is back after an unfortunate accident in May. Come celebrate with us as we start anew to continue serving the children of Fort Worth! First 200 people will receive a free snow cone on us! The celebration will take place on Wednesday Aug. 31st, 2-4 pm, between the MET and parking lot 19 on Bunting St.

 Pediatric Mobile Clinic services

The Pediatric Mobile Clinic provides comprehensive medical care including:

  • Well-child exams
  • Sports physicals
  • Sick visits
  • Immunizations
  • Laboratory testing
  • An array of health screenings including: vision, hearing, dental, iron, lead & hemoglobin

Health education

The Clinic also provides significant patient-centered health education focusing on nutrition, physical activity and oral health.

Social services

At each visit, families have the opportunity to meet with a social worker to discuss their family’s current social, economic and environmental needs by working together to develop a personalized plan for particular challenges. The social worker also works to identify uninsured children who are eligible for governmental insurance benefits and will assist the families with enrollment.

For illnesses requiring treatment beyond the scope of the mobile unit, the patient is referred to partner organizations for additional care.
