Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety department is located on the campus of UNTHSC. For patient concerns and other matters, please call our main number at 817-735-2396.  

Quality Management

Our goal is to continuously monitor and improve the quality of care, safety, and satisfaction of our patients. The office also collects and reports on national and state quality reporting initiatives relevant to performance improvement and patient care outcomes.

The Quality Office handles all patient concerns and grievances and works closely with patients, UNTHSC providers, clinic leadership and staff to investigate and resolve patient matters.

The Quality, Patient Safety and Services Committee, which is chaired by a physician, provides on-going operational leadership of the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities and coordinates all quality improvement activities related to patient safety.
