Robyn Remotigue, executive director of research and scholarship at The University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth’s College of Nursing, recently completed a prestigious two-week fellowship held at King’s College London in May 2025.

She was one of only 10 recipients of the 2025 NCURA Global Senior Level Fellowship, a highly competitive program administered by the National Council of University Research Administrators. The fellowship supports global collaboration and knowledge exchange in research administration.

The program offers senior-level research administrators the opportunity to engage in immersive, short-term experiences at institutions outside their home country. Fellows learn about international research management practices and help strengthen global partnerships.

“It is an incredible honor to be selected for this fellowship,” Remotigue said. “This opportunity not only reflects the growing visibility of the UNTHSC College of Nursing in the global research landscape but also allows us to build international connections that benefit our faculty, students and research infrastructure.”

During her time in London, Remotigue worked closely with King’s College education and research leaders focused on health care, nursing and grant operations. She introduced UNTHSC’s College of Nursing to more than 100 team members, including representatives from the Cicely Saunders Institute of Palliative Care, Policy & Rehabilitation, the pre-award team and the King’s College Research Management Network.

Remotigue also gained insights into how institutions abroad manage research funding and compliance, which she hopes to apply at UNTHSC.

She is a longtime member of the UNTHSC community, having previously worked at the School of Public Health before joining the College of Nursing. With 30 years of experience in grants and contracts management, she has held leadership roles at several academic institutions.

Her fellowship reflects the College of Nursing’s growing role in the global research conversation, aligning with UNTHSC’s broader mission to improve health through education, research and community engagement.
