UNT HEALTH SCIENCE CENTER WINS 2005 FORT WORTH BEAUTIFUL AWARD

The UNT Health Science won the 2005 Fort Worth Beautiful Award presented by the Fort Worth Garden Club.

The actual award presentation ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. May 20 at the Rivercrest Country Club during the Garden Clubâ??s year-end celebration luncheon. The Garden Club will present the Health Science Center with a sign to be displayed on campus facing Camp Bowie Boulevard.

â??Our faculty, staff and students should be proud of our efforts to beautify the Fort Worth community and be a good neighbor,â? said Ronald Blanck, DO, president of the health science center. â??We are excited that the Fort Worth Garden Club has recognized those efforts with this award.â?

The Fort Worth Beautiful Award recognizes and encourages the private sector in improving the appearance of the community.
