Medical assistance provided by TCOM students in Haiti

Look in the Jan. 23 edition of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram for an article about Haiti relief efforts and the TCOM students who traveled to provide medical assistance in the wake of the disaster. Reporter Diane Smith spoke with Stephen Miller about his experiences while in Haiti.

Miller, along with TCOM students Joanna Gibbons and Bill Betz and a medical mission group, treated over 100 patients during their stay, tending to many broken bones, fractures, extensive wounds and infections. They were also able to transport those with serious illnesses to a hospital.
