Curriculum
Interprofessional Education (IPE) at the UNT Health Science Center is divided into two types. Centralized IPE (C-IPE) and DeCentralized IPE (D-IPE). These two types of interprofessional education exist under the “umbrella” of IPE. Click on the titles below to learn more about the two types of IPE.

When faculty from varying colleges or schools come together to design, facilitate, and control IPE that is fully embedded into a class or rotation.
Faculty Development
Faculty, placed in interprofessional teams, have the opportunity to learn and apply competencies for interprofessional practice education. Interprofessional Faculty Development is a collaboration with the Center for Innovative Learning.
Interprofessional Education Preceptor Development Program – A Pilot
The program utilizes blended-learning, where a portion of the content is provided in online modules and is then followed up with in-person, active learning.
