Interprofessional Education Curriculum

Interprofessional Education (IPE) at the UNT Health Science Center is divided into two types. Centralized IPE (C-IPE) and DeCentralized IPE (D-IPE). These two types of interprofessional education exist under the “umbrella” of IPE. Click on the titles below to learn more about the two types of IPE.

Centralized IPE (C-IPE)

Interprofessional education designed, facilitated, and controlled by the University of North Texas Health Science Center Department of Interprofessional Education and Practice

Decentralized IPE (D-IPE)

When faculty from varying colleges or schools come together to design, facilitate, and control IPE that is fully embedded into a class or rotation.

Interprofessional Faculty and Preceptor Development

Faculty, placed in interprofessional teams, have the opportunity to learn and apply competencies for interprofessional practice education. Interprofessional Faculty Development is a collaboration with the the Division for Academic Innovations.
