Cameron Cushman is Assistant Vice President of Innovation Ecosystems at HSC Fort Worth. He is working to build and connect the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Fort Worth so that innovators, entrepreneurs, researchers and investors can successfully build and grow startup companies faster, avoid failure, create more jobs and build wealth.

Cameron has over a decade of experience building entrepreneurial communities. He began his career in the George W. Bush Administration in Washington, DC, before he moved to Kansas City and worked at the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation. While at The Kauffman Foundation, he led several initiatives to help build entrepreneurial communities including the co-founding of 1 Million Cups, a weekly educational event for entrepreneurs that is now in over 180 US cities and 30 countries. He also worked in the private sector as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at PhysAssist Scribes, a medical services company.
