Nicole Johnson (STAR 2016 promotion) presented her summer research work entitled “The Gut Microbiome: Defining Mechanisms of Resistance Against a Chemotherapeutic Agent” at the 2016 Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students (ABRCMS) in November in Tampa, FL.

Mira Bakine (Langston University, OK and SMART 2016 promotion) won first place for her summer research at the Oklahoma Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) Research Symposium, on September 24, 2016.

JULY 2015
