SaferCare Texas Hosts Health Literacy Conference

Save the date!

SaferCare Texas is partnering with Health Literacy Texas, It’s Time Texas and DFW Hospital Council to host a health literacy conference focused on the Healthy People 2030 Health Literacy Objectives and Whole Health.

The conference theme is ‘Healthy People 2030: Health Literacy from Advice to Action’ and will feature various speakers that will discuss health literacy patient safety issues related to topics such as the opioid epidemic, financial literacy, advocacy, and maternal health.

The conference will be held on July 20th at the UNT Health Science Center’s Medical Education and Training Building.

Location: MET 109-111 & MET 125S

Continuing Education: Physicians, nurses, certified public health professionals, social workers and CHES can earn up to 6.5 hours of continuing education!
