FLIGHT Medical Camp
The Health Science Center is excited to host “FLIGHT Camp,” a week-long camp for children from all backgrounds, ages 9 to 11 years old. Participants will learn about healthy living, diseases and health care careers, and they will participate in many hands-on activities. We want to inspire children from diverse backgrounds to envision themselves as doctors, physical therapists, physician assistants, pharmacists or researchers. We are hoping to find the health care providers of the future!
There are no fees associated with this event. We will provide breakfast and lunch. Attendance will be limited to 60 attendees, reserved on a first come, first served basis. You will receive an email confirmation if your child is accepted after we process your signed permission slip and photo release form.
Schedule of Events
June 10 – 14, 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for ages 9 – 11
Parent’s Night is June 11 and 13, 6 – 8 p.m. (no children)
