As of January 14th, 2020 all Windows 7 workstations will be end of life and end of support from Microsoft.
What does this mean? This is the time period identified by Microsoft to sunset support and patching for a particular operating system in order to redirect their focus to the supported and future state operating systems.
What does this mean for the remaining Windows 7 devices on campus? We will need your help moving those workstations to a supported operating system.
How you can help: Schedule a time by calling, emailing or submitting a Samanage ticket to the Helpdesk to have your system updated to Windows 10.
Note: Any system remaining that cannot be upgraded due to documented incompatibility will require mitigation which could included but not limited to removing from the UNTHSC Domain.
