VOLUNTEERS needed for Punching Out Parkinson’s fundraiser

Punching Out Parkinson’s [POP] will hold our annual community event on Friday evening, April 26th. It will be our first fight night – featuring competitive amateur boxing sanctioned by USA Boxing. Six bouts of top-ranked amateurs, up close and personal, along with BBQ dinner, auctions, raffles, and fun. Location is the Cendera Center on Camp Bowie / 377 / Alta Mere traffic circle.

Event is 6:30 to 10 pm, up to 20 volunteers will be accepted, need to be onsite at 6pm for assignments. Early departures and a few late arrivals can be arranged by contacting Dan Novak, Ph.D.

Volunteers will be fed, and depending on assignments, will be able to watch some or all of the boxing.

Dress is business casual.

Carpooling is encouraged since parking is limited, parking close-up will be reserved for people with Parkinson’s.
