The UNT Health and Science Center partners with the Arlington Independent School District (AISD) to increase diversity in Science, Technology Engineering Mathematics (STEM) higher education. Through this partnership, we have developed the “Coaching UP” program that provides AISD high school students an opportunity to learn about potential careers in the biomedical, behavioral, medical and health, and allied health professions.
We are currently seeking student volunteers from all UNTHSC schools to participate as coaches. Benefits for joining our team include peer mentoring and financial assistance for professional development activities for you or your student organization.
