Values Based Interviewing/Hiring Training Now Available

Values-based Hiring

We have launched initiatives to continue building a values-based culture:

1. Hire the Right People

How do we hire the right people?
? Identify job competencies and create interview guides based on job competencies and Our Values.
? Train all hiring teams how to use guides.

What is considered a hiring team?
? Those involved in the competency and values map process
? At least 3 team members, usually Manager, Peer, Staff

When will we start using this hiring process?
? Mamy groups already use this but all hiring teams should be trained and certified by Fall 2016.

What training do I need to attend?
? Complete 2 hour PeoplePix online training; pass exam with 90.
? Complete 3 hour classroom training, held twice a month.

2. Identify Correct Competencies for all job titles and interview guides

Supervisors will work with HR to update job descriptions to make sure they reflect the competencies and values required to succeed in the position.
