On March 1, the Division of Research & Innovation opened its first 2018 research seed grant RFP. One-page pre-proposals will be due by 8 am on March 13. Invitations to submit full-proposals will be issued on March 23; full proposals will be due by 8 am on April 12.
There will be a total of 8 RFPs in calendar year 2018 – 4 programs run for two cycles each. A new RFP will open at the first of every month except July and December. The programs expect to fund up to 21 projects with a total of $500,000.
The four programs are:
– Basic Research (RFP opens March 1, August 1)
– Applied Research (RFP opens April 2, September 4)
– SBIR Phase 0 (RFP opens April 30, October 1)
– Digital Health (RFP opens June 1, November 1)
Faculty are invited to attend one of the two remaining information sessions to learn more about the 2018 UNTHSC research seed grant programs.
