1. UNT Board of Regents – Student Regent
The UNT Board of Regents is the governing board for all UNT System schools including the UNT Health Science Center. Texas law requires the appointment of a student to serve on this board each year. This next year the Student Regent will be selected from among the students at the Health Science Center. The term served will be from June 1, 2017-May 31, 2018.

2. Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board Student Representative
Apply to be a Student Representative to Advisory Committees of the Texas High Education Coordinating Board!

This is an incredibly prestigious leadership opportunity and would be a great experience if you?re interested in contributing to the progress of Higher Education in Texas. For initial consideration, nominees must meet the following minimum criteria:
? Be enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student in a public institution of higher education;
? Be in good academic standing as determined by the institution;
? Commit to fulfill all board related responsibilities during their term of service, to include attendance at no less than 3 of the 4 quarterly board meetings, and 3 of the 4 board committee meetings as scheduled; and
? Have a strong drive and self-motivation to contribute to the progress of higher education in Texas.
