Texas CEAL Consortium: Funding Opportunity for COVID projects

This Request for Consortium Partner Projects is based on the NIH Research Opportunity Announcement for the Community Engagement Research Alliance (CEAL) Against COVID-19 Disparities April 2022 – March 2023 funding period.

Texas CEAL Consortium was developed in response to NIH calls for collaboration in September 2020. See our website for more details: https://texasceal.org/about-us-3/. For this new funding cycle, the priorities and goals of CEAL have shifted as COVID-19 as evolved. We are seeking collaborative and community engaged projects across Texas to be part of the next Texas CEAL Consortium funding period.

Project must be responsive to the following objectives:
1. Support research on awareness, education, misinformation, and mistrust around SARS-CoV-2 and new variant infections, COVID-19, and the promotion of vaccine acceptance and uptake; and
2. Promote inclusion of disproportionately affected racial/ethnic minority populations in COVID-19 clinical studies and trials (prevention, treatments, vaccines, and diagnostic testing), including observational studies, clinical trials and other research in Post-Acute Sequelae of SARS-CoV-2 infection (PASC).
