Teresa Wagner, DrPH Candidate Residency Defense, School of Public Health, November 10, 2015, EAD 600, 2:00-3:00 pm

In partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Doctor in Public Health (DrPH) degree program in the School of Public Health, Teresa Wagner, MS, RD/LD, will conduct a presentation about her Doctoral Residency and Major Project entitled, ?Do you hear what I hear? Plain Language Curriculum to Enhance Health Literacy?, on Tuesday, November 10, 2015, 2:00 ? 3:00 pm, EAD 600. The campus community is invited to attend.

Teresa has completed her Doctoral Residency for the DrPH degree program at The University of Texas at Austin in the Department of Moody College of Communication at The University of Texas at Austin, under the supervision of Michael Mackert, PhD, a Provost?s Teaching Fellow and Associate Professor in the Stan Richards School of Advertising and Public Relations. She was also mentored by Ms. Stephanie Uecker of the Literacy Coalition of Central Texas.

A doctoral candidate, Ms. Wagner?s Faculty Mentor (Major Professor) is Dr. Erin Carlson, Department of Health Management and Policy. The DrPH Committee is comprised of Dr. Dennis Thombs, Chair, Dr. Erin Carlson, Dr. Witold Migala, Dr. Christine Moranetz, Ms. Marcy Paul and Dr. David Sterling.
