Survey of Employee Engagement

Wednesday afternoon most employees received an email from Institute for Organizational Excellence at UT Austin regarding the Survey of Employee Engagement. This email was neither a phishing attempt nor spam. If you have deleted the email, a reminder will be sent in a few days to those employees who have yet to complete the survey.

The survey is designed to provide information about the UNTHSC work environment, pay and benefits, employee development, teamwork, organizational characteristics, and communication. Additional questions have been added to measure Coaching/Mentoring, Satisfaction, Trust, Values/Competencies, and Team Member Engagement. Variations of this survey have been administered in 2008, 2010, and 2012. The results are used to determine our strengths and opportunities for improvement with respect to the areas covered in the survey. Prior results of the survey for 2010 and 2012 can be found on the Office of Organizational Excellence Website.

You will receive an email from the Institute for Organizational Excellence at UT Austin with a link to begin the survey. This survey should take about 15 minutes to complete and asks for your insights into what your organization is doing well and the areas in which it needs to improve. Your thoughtfulness and honesty are critical to this process. This survey is anonymous and may be taken during work hours. Your responses go directly to and are tabulated by the Institute for Organizational Excellence at UT Austin and reported to UNTHSC. As with past versions of this survey, the results will be used to determine UNTHSC?s strengths and which areas need improvement.
