Summer Benefits Enrollment started Monday the 4th and ends next Saturday.
Summer Benefits Enrollment is the annual event/time period when you can make changes to your employee benefits without a “qualifying life event” (example: change dental plans, add a dependent to your insurance, drop or add short term, long term disability or life insurance, add vision insurance).
Changes made during Summer Enrollment are effective 9/1/2022.
Make your changes online in your ERS portal (ers.texas.gov).
ERS has mailed Summer Benefits Enrollment guides to all active employees.
