Student volunteers needed for the annual Wheels for Wellness Benefit Car Show
September 1, 2021

Wheels for Wellness needs HSC volunteers for the annual Wheels for Wellness Benefit Car Show benefiting the SCREEN, CARE and CURE of prostate cancer. This event will take place on Saturday, September 18th in Downtown Fort Worth.

There are multiple two hour shifts between 7am-3pm. Volunteers may man gate locations or valet lanes as well as provide information to spectators if requested. Two volunteers will man a gate location barricade to ensure there is no outside traffic flow in/out of the event. Additionally, three volunteers will be spaced along valet lanes to help direct cars coming/going from hotels to the correct exit from the show area. Chairs will be provided. Please sign up for as many shifts as you would like to work. Multiple shifts are not required to be back-to-back. For example, you may work the 7-9am shift and the 1-3pm shift.

Event Day Check In: All volunteers will initially report to the Volunteer Tent on Main Street between 6th and 7th Streets at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the shift. You will receive a volunteer lanyard and clipboard. Volunteer Verification Records will be available as needed at the end of shifts. T-shirts will be available for pickup after the volunteer’s shift. Unfilled volunteer locations may cause your assigned location to be changed to accommodate the needs of the car show.
