The Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine chapter of the Student American Academy of Osteopathy was chosen as National Chapter of the Year during the 2016 AAO Convocation in Orlando, Florida. The leadership team earned this award for best exemplifying the spirit of the SAAO through engaging student programming, events, and community outreach. This year, 38 chapters (one from each osteopathic medical school in the country) competed for the award.
