Dear HSC Graduates,
We consider Commencement one of our most important events of the year. It’s a joyous occasion honoring and celebrating our outstanding students and families while providing closure on an important chapter of your academic journey.
I’m pleased to share we will be celebrating your achievements this year albeit in a different format due to COVID-19. This year’s Commencement Ceremony will take place via a virtual platform on Saturday, June 6th, 2020 at 9:00 am and will recognize all Health Science Center graduates.
During the June 6th ceremony, all graduates along with friends and family are invited to gather online as our University leadership recognizes and confers your degrees. The virtual ceremony will include formal remarks and sharable digital slides honoring each graduate.
As we have learned over the past several weeks, things change constantly so I appreciate your understanding and patience as we work through the logistics of this event. Our goal is to celebrate each of you with the pomp and circumstance you deserve regardless of the platform.
I am incredibly proud of all your accomplishments and look forward to celebrating virtually with each of you on June 6th because together we are HSC!
