In partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Doctor in Public Health (DrPH) degree program in the School of Public Health, Becky Garner, MS, CPH, will conduct a presentation about her Doctoral Residency and Major Project entitled, ?Integrating Public Health into Higher Education: The Development of Undergraduate Degree Options at the University of Texas at Arlington?, on Monday, December 7, 9:00- 10:00 am, EAD 600. The campus community is invited to attend.

Becky has completed her Doctoral Residency for the DrPH degree program at The University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) in the College of Nursing and Health Innovations (COHNI), under the supervision of Anne Bavier, RN, PhD, FAAN, Professor and Dean of Nursing. Dean Bavier is the president-elect of the National League of Nursing. Becky was also mentored by Dr. David Keller, PhD, Associate Professor and Chair, Department of Kinesiology at UTA.

A doctoral candidate, Ms. Garner?s Faculty Mentor (Major Professor) is Dr. Christine Moranetz, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Chair, Department of Public Health Education in the School of Public Health. The DrPH Committee is comprised of Dr. Dennis Thombs, Chair, Dr. Erin Carlson, Dr. Witold Migala, Dr. Christine Moranetz, Ms. Marcy Paul and Dr. David Sterling.
