SPH Solutions Series – Navigating a Non-Stick Nightmare

Dr. Pelch is a Senior Scientist at The Endocrine Disruption Exchange. Dr. Pelch’s expertise includes systematic review methods and in vitro and in vivo animal models of human health and disease. Dr. Pelch has been actively participating in the public discourse on science and policy with government leaders, state agency staff, and concerned citizens, around the health impacts related to per-and polyfluoroalkylsubstances (PFAS) detected in drinking water. In support of these efforts, Dr. Pelch is currently using systematic review methodology to evaluate the evidence for health and toxicological effects for 29 PFAS of emerging interest.

Dr. Pelch will present her research on non-stick substances that are persistent in the environment and associated with a variety of health concerns.

Her talk will be Monday, November 18, 2019 at 11am in EAD 719.
