Effective May 1, 2020, a revised Intellectual Property (IP) policy was approved for the HSC that contains important updates.
Drivers for the development of a new HSC IP policy included the need to:
• consolidate multiple policies related to IP
• make the policy more compliant with current case law and best practices
• update and streamline procedures related to IP management
• clarify policy language about student IP
