Seeking African Americans For Research Study Paying $15 hourly

This is an advertisement seeking volunteers to participate in a research study entitled:

? The Role of Anxiety in Modulating the Sympathetic Outflow to Physiological Stress?

The University of North Texas Health Science Center (UNTHSC) is looking for 50 subjects to take part in a study that will assess various cardiovascular parameters during breath-holding and how the anxious response to these interventions affect sympathetic response.

You must be 18-80 years old generally healthy. You do not have to have an anxiety disorder to participate.

Study Requirements:
? Visit the laboratory in the Department of Integrative Physiology at UNTHSC on 2 separate days
– Day 1: familiarize session; 1-2 hours
– Day 2: experimental session; 2-3 hours
? Participation in this study is voluntary, and if you are student or employee of UNTHSC your participation (or non-participation) in this study in no way affect your academic standing or employment.
? Subjects will be compensated for their time and effort.
