HSC collects recycling in many ways, and Facilities Management strives to divert as much as possible from the landfill through our recycling programs. Please remember that only recyclable materials are allowed in the small blue bins around campus (primarily located in offices).
You can recycle many types of paper (copier, magazines), empty and clean cans and bottles, and cardboard. We do not accept plastic bags, food waste, paper towels and tissue, items for shredding, and more.
Please note, batteries and ink cartridges can be recycled through our Recycling 2.0 program in bins at the Library 2nd floor by the café and MET first floor.
