Since 2022 the Research Enhancement Assistance Program (REAP), with the support of the Executive Vice President of Research, has awarded 21 intramural grants. One of our programs is the New Investigator Grant Award. The purpose of the program is to assist investigators as they launch their independent research careers. Funding enables awardees to collect data while strengthening their research.
2022 Awardee, Dr. Stacey Griner is an example of how this program can lead to future funding. She was able to further her research and successfully receive a two-year grant from the NIH.
