Two large on-campus events are scheduled for Saturday at UNT Health Science Center that may make parking and traffic more crowded than usual.
The Primary Care Summit is scheduled from about 7 a.m. to noon at the MET, with more than 100 attendees expected.
From noon until about 3 p.m., an on-campus march and rally will begin and end in Lot 1 just east of the Patient Care Center. Organizers are expecting as many as 2,000 participants, who will be allowed to park in Lot 1 and parking garages 5 and 9.
The "March for Science" event is neither sponsored by nor affiliated with UNT Health Science Center. Both the event organizer and UNTHSC are working closely with the Fort
Worth Police Department and UNTHSC police to ensure safety is a top priority.
Students and employees planning to come to campus during those times should allow extra time for traffic and parking.
