People between the ages of 50-90 with early stage Parkinson’s disease needed for study

Dr. Nejtek’s lab is needing people with early stage Parkinson’s disease who are not currently exercising to participate in a research study.

Her research is to determine if mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) is a risk factor for Parkinson’s disease (PD), or Parkinsonism (P).

Who might qualify?
-People with early stage PD/P who are not currently exercising
-Ages 40-90
-High school diploma or GED
-Non-Hispanic White, Hispanic or Black/African American
-Can read, write & speak English

There will be a 30-40 minute screening to see if you are eligible, followed by one 1-hr study visit. You will be compensated for both the screening and study visit if you complete all screening and study procedures.
