Pediatric Oral Motor Skills Surveys Projects
Are you the current caregiver involved with the feeding of a typically or atypically developing child under 5 years?
Up to 30% of typically developing children and up to 89% of children with developmental disorders will have some kind of feeding problem. There are still some things we do not know about oral motor skills development and pediatric feeding problems.
We do not know:
• What feeding behaviors affect the development of oral motor skills?
• If there are differences among children with developmental disorders?
• How do differences in oral motor skills and feeding behaviors relate to feeding problems?
