Dear HSC Faculty, Staff and Students,
We wanted to let everyone know about two important parking updates.
First, effective immediately, the Office of Operations and Business Management would like to announce that the administrative office of HSC Parking has moved from the Police Department to the Facilities Management & Services Department. This change separates the administrative functions of issuing parking passes from those of enforcing parking. The transition will provide additional support for the administrative component of parking and help streamline the process to address feedback received from the HSC community.
Parking enforcement will remain with the HSC Police Department. Beginning Tuesday, June 11, the HSC Parking office will be moving to its new location in the Facilities Management Building. The office’s phone number, 817-735-2211, will remain the same.
Second, on July 5, Parking Lot 6 will close for needed maintenance. The parking lot will be unavailable for use from July 5 through July 29. We realize this may be inconvenient; however, the project is needed and will be complete before the start of the academic year.
During the closure, all Premium Surface Lot 6 Permit holders will have access to Garage 5 in addition to any of the other surface lots.
