The grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for HSC’s much-anticipated Regional Simulation Center is drawing closer. On Thursday, June 23, HSC will host donors, select members of the media and other luminaries for a VIP event celebrating this historic occasion. Once it opens, the new Simulation Center will be the first in Texas to feature immersive virtual reality technology.
For that Thursday, we’ve reserved Lot 11 exclusively for our visitors, who will be treated to tours of the state-of-the-art medical training facility. The Simulation Center, situated on the ground floor of the Gibson D. Lewis Health Science Library, will be open to students, faculty and community partners starting on the second week of July.
