On-farm health screening needs of immigrant dairy workers – free webinar Wed July 12 at 10am

The Network of the National Library of Medicine Region 3, housed at the Gibson D. Lewis Library, would like to invite you to join us for the next session of our monthly webinar series, Health Bytes with Region 3.

This monthly 1 hour series focuses on topics of interest to clinicians, researchers, faculty and information professionals.

This presentation will discuss the results of a pilot study done to determine the health needs of dairy workers and the feasibility of on-farm health risk screenings. Findings suggest there is a need and interest for on-farm health risk screenings and education among immigrant dairy workers. Addressing known barriers to health should be paramount to the organization of on-farm health risk screenings.
