Portion of University Drive to close April 17-20

The following closures will take place on University Drive in Fort Worth:

Closures:
?North- and southbound University Drive, located south of Interstate 30 between West Vickery Boulevard and the Union Pacific Railroad, will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday, April 17 until 5 a.m. Monday, April 20.
?The northbound Chisholm Trail Parkway frontage road from Rogers Road to University Drive, will be closed from 9 p.m. Friday, April 17 until 5 a.m. Monday, April 20.

Detours:
?Motorists who want to travel north on University Drive will turn right on West Rosedale Street, left on Forest Park Boulevard, left onto the westbound I-30 access ramp and merge onto westbound I-30. Drivers will then take the University Drive exit, and turn left onto northbound University Drive.
?Motorists who want to travel south on University Drive will turn right onto Rogers Road and follow the road around University Park Village. Drivers will turn left onto Collinsworth Street to access University Drive.

The closure is needed for construction activities associated with the Chisholm Trail Parkway project.

All closures are subject to weather conditions and will be postponed, if necessary.
