The National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Scholarship Program (SP) is now open and accepting applications for the 2017-2018 school year. The NHSC SP pays tuition, fees, other educational costs, and offers a living stipend for students pursuing primary health care professions training in NHSC-eligible disciplines. In return, scholarship recipients must commit to providing primary care health services for a minimum of two years in an NHSC-approved site in a Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA). Selected applicants will be notified by email/letter of their award no later than September 30, 2017.
