New time reporting codes for COVID-19-related work activities

HSC, like other institutions, is expending a significant amount of resources on addressing needs arising from the current pandemic.

HSC may have the opportunity to be reimbursed for pandemic related expenses and needs employees to track their time spent on COVID-19 related work activities.

Beginning on April 22, we are asking all employees to use the timesheet in EIS to record hours worked on COVID-19-related work activities.

Employees should note the number of hours worked on COVID-19 activities and use the time reporting codes “REGER” for salaried employees or “RWHER” for hourly employees.

Instructions for logging in and locating the timesheet in EIS can be found at: https://insite.unthsc.edu/human-resources/hsc-time-reporting-guidelines-for-covid-19-situation/

This may be a new process for many who do not currently enter time into a weekly timesheet, but it is very important for us to utilize this going forward. Our reporting, and potentially our future reimbursements are dependent upon tracking our time and effort.

Questions about qualified COVID-19 related work activities may be directed to HSC Finance at HSCFinance@unthsc.edu or the Budget Office at HSCBudget@unthsc.edu.
