Join Voter Registration Initiative (VRI) – Tarrant County on campus at the following times:
Monday, Sept. 17 from 11:00-1:00pm in the MET Lobby (Constitution Day)
Tuesday, Sept. 25 from 11:00-1:00pm in the MET Lobby (National Voter Registration Day)
VRI is a non-partisan group interested in increasing voter registration in the area! They will have deputized registrars providing the following information and services:
– Registration forms from Tarrant County for individuals to fill out
– A receipt for your registration
– Mail you your voter registration card within 30 days
– Postpaid mail-in cards if you have friends or family members who need to register – both for Tarrant County and for those who reside in other counties
– Opportunity to sign-up for text/email reminders when it’s time to vote
– A URL for a non-partisan source of voter information (e.g., process, dates, candidates, issues).
On Monday, Sept. 17, The Financial Aid Office will be joining in on the fun as they help us celebrate Constitution Day! Enjoy a cupcake and mini Constitution (limited supplies, first come-first serve) while you register to vote! Please RSVP HERE for the Constitution Day festivities.
