The Department of Family Medicine/OMM is recruiting men and women for a study entitled “Effect of Palpatory Neuromodulation of the Trigeminal Nerve for Tenderness in the Posterior Neck Musculature”.
The purpose of this study is to assess the extent of which a non-invasive, palpatory neuromodulatory protocol on the trigeminal nerve endings on the face can affect discomfort felt on the posterior neck musculature, using the Isotouch pressure sensor system. Subjects must be able to lay on their back for up to 15 minutes, and attend a single protocol visit after work/class as scheduled through our study coordinator.
