MarCom is launching a new project management platform

On Monday, March 6, HSC Marketing & Communications will launch Workamajig, a new project management system that will help streamline requests for all campus web, marketing and communications projects.

The goal of this new project management system is to increase communication between campus requestors and the Marketing & Communications staff about projects from start to finish. Project requesters will be able to mark changes to drafts inside the Workamajig system and will be alerted about the status of their project requests as they move through completion.

Examples of projects that may be requested through the system include updating content on webpages, creating videos, scheduling a photographer, creating social media posts, designing brochures and having a news release written.

Campus requestors will continue to submit projects by going to the Marketing & Communications homepage and clicking on the “Request a Project” button in the center of the page. Starting Monday, March 6, that button will go to an updated page on HSC Insite that will provide simple directions and a link for submitting projects using Workamajig.

Requestors will receive a response from the Marketing & Communications team within one business day updating them about which team member is assigned to their project. Marketing & Communications asks for 10 business days from the time of project assignment to complete most projects. Larger projects may require additional time.
