Manager Minute: Recording Emergency Leave on Timesheet

Non-exempt and hourly paid employees, including student employees, who are sent home per the Tarrant County Stay-At-Home Order and have no remote work options, should report their regularly scheduled work time as emergency leave on their weekly timesheet. The emergency leave code to use is “Leave – Health Pandemic-EMG”. Employees should not report more hours than their normally scheduled work hours for each day.

Considerations should first be given to remote work opportunities and then if no opportunities exist, utilize emergency leave with pay as a secondary option.
