LIB 110 (Mini Auditorium) renovations are complete with new freedom for presenters!

The LIB 110 (Mini Auditorium) physical and A/V equipment renovations are complete, and the room is now available for use. Renovations include new and expanded seating, carpet, lighting, and A/V. Speakers now have the freedom to walk around the room as they present from a handheld device. The room is equipped with wireless presentation technology (Apple TV, AirMedia) and live streaming capabilities for special events.

Presenters can choose to use their own devices, a wireless keyboard, mouse, and clicker controlling a Windows PC in the back of the room, or an Apple MacBook Pro laptop. The room no longer has a traditional podium, but does have a rolling stand on which to place a laptop, tablet, or papers*. Lighting and room technology is controlled from two panels at the front of the room (screen side) for the convenience of the speaker. The new comfortable, theater-style seating comes with a swing up table per seat, and power for charging devices (located directly below the arm cap).

CETS highly recommends that you schedule time for a technology orientation prior to your first presentation in the room, and that with each presentation, you reserve and arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the event to ensure your presentation goes smoothly.

*Rolling stand and tables are still being evaluated. Feedback is appreciated.
