Kelcie Thorson to Present Thesis Defense – “Approaches to Mitochondrial Genome Sequencing using the Oxford Nanopore MinION Device”

In partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Master of Science degree in the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences, Kelcie Thorson will present a seminar entitled, “Approaches to Mitochondrial Genome Sequencing using the Oxford Nanopore MinION Device” on April 11, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. in CBH-230. The campus community is invited to attend. A private defense with the advisory committee will immediately follow the seminar.

Ms. Thorson is a master?s candidate in Forensic Genetics, under the supervision of John Planz, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Institute for Molecular Medicine.
