Join us for the 5th Annual Women’s Cardiovascular and Brain Health (WCBH) Symposium, featuring the “RED OUT, SHOUT OUT” Showcase to support those affected by cardiovascular diseases. This symposium is sponsored by HSC Division of Research and Innovation and the Office of the President.

The WCBH symposium will take place on February 1-2, 2024, in the Medical Education and Training (MET) building located at 1000 Montgomery Street, Texas 76107.

WBCH Symposium will include:

The purpose of the symposium is to 1) promote research addressing women’s cardiovascular and brain health, 2) provide the opportunity for students and postdoctoral fellows to present their work, 3) foster regional and local research collaborations, and 4) raise awareness about the importance of women’s health research.

This symposium will be an impactful and transformative event that will raise awareness, bring attention to cutting edge research of Women’s health, amply the voices of those affected by CVDs, and importantly bring together students, faculty, staff, and community persons at UNTHSC and the surrounding DFW area.
